Bulldog Bags Packing & Distribution
During the school year, Bulldog Bags are generally packed and distributed on Fridays, twice a month, so that the children have weekend food to take the place of food that they would have received at school as a part of the Free and Reduced Meal Program. Packing begins at 9:00 am and lasts about an hour.
Groups wishing to sign-up can use the SignUp Genius link, reserving the number of slots that they can guarantee to fill. Of course, individuals can sign up, as well. People who have signed up will be sent a reminder email, when it is close to their date to pack.
Bulldog Boxes Packing & Distribution
In addition to Bulldog Bags, we provide registered families with Bulldog Boxes, which is a box of fresh, frozen, and non-perishable foods focused on helping stock pantries. Boxes are picked up or delivered on a designated Friday, from 3:30 – 6:30 pm, each month. We welcome volunteers to help us pack the non-refrigerated portion of the boxes on Thursday evening, with set-up activities beginning at 6:00 pm and lasting approximately 1.5 hours. On Friday afternoons, starting at 2:00 pm, we pack the fresh and frozen portion of the boxes for an hour and then beginning distribution and delivery activities after. We welcome volunteers for any portion of our activities!
